## FAQ

### How do credits work?

1 credit = 1 minute of source video, counted per started minute. Credits are charged when you click Generate Clips. Generating clips, editing, re-rendering and exporting are all free after that, so a 60-minute podcast costs 60 credits however many clips you make from it.

### What do I get for free?

Every account starts with 60 free credits, about an hour of video, with no card needed. Free exports are 720p with a small watermark, and you get every caption style, the clip editor and publishing to one YouTube channel. Free projects keep their clips for 7 days after you last open or edit them (30 days on paid plans).

### What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?

Yearly billing costs 20% less than paying monthly: Creator is $86 a year instead of $108, Pro is $230 a year instead of $288. Either way, your plan's credits arrive every month.

### Do unused credits roll over?

Yes. Credits go into one balance and stay there. Unused plan credits carry over to the next month, and credit packs never expire. If you cancel, the credits already in your balance stay in your account.

### What if I run out of credits?

Creator and Pro can buy one-off credit packs: 300 credits for $5, 1,000 credits for $12, 3,000 credits for $32. Packs stack on top of your plan. A bigger plan is cheaper per minute if you run out every month.

### What happens if processing fails?

The credits charged for that video go straight back to your balance, automatically.

### Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, from Settings → Plans & credits. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew after that.

### Do you offer refunds?

Within 7 days of a payment (a new subscription, a renewal or a credit pack), you can get a full refund of that payment if you haven't used any credits since. Mistaken or duplicate charges are always refunded. Email support@cliptaro.com with the payment date.

### Who handles payments?

Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, which takes care of the checkout, invoices and sales tax.
