VEED alternative

A VEED alternative built only for clipping

VEED is a general online video editor with AI tools that run on credits. ClipTaro does one thing: it turns long talking videos into ready-to-post vertical clips, and you pay by minutes of video instead of credits per AI action.

One job, done well

ClipTaro transcribes the whole video, picks 3 to 15 moments with a strong hook and payoff, frames the speaker in 9:16, adds animated captions and writes a title for each clip. Each clip comes with a 0–100 score and the reasons behind it.

Credits you can predict

One credit equals one minute of source video, charged when you click Generate Clips. A 60-minute podcast costs 60 credits however many clips you make, and editing, re-rendering and exporting are free.

If processing fails, the credits go straight back to your balance.

Edit what matters

Trim on a waveform timeline, fix caption words, change caption style, colours and position, adjust the framing or switch to 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9. Paid plans export in 1080p without a watermark.

FAQ

Questions, answered

No. ClipTaro is built for turning long videos into short clips. For general editing, a full editor still makes sense.

Only processing a video uses credits: one per minute of source video. Everything you do with the clips afterwards is free.

Anything with people talking: podcasts, interviews, keynotes, commentary, tutorials and streams with commentary.
